Explain your interest with specific role evidence

Prepare a role-interest answer by matching stated responsibilities to your own work and questions.

Start with the actual job description. Identify two responsibilities you want to do and one reason your experience would help. Keep your interest separate from claims about a company that you have not verified.

Build a matched answer#

For a fictional project-coordination role, a useful answer could connect responsibility for cross-team delivery to a real example where you clarified owners and deadlines. Explain what you want to learn or improve in the new setting. Replace the example with your own facts and avoid saying the company has a culture you only inferred from a job advert.

Prepare a question back#

Ask what success would look like in the first few months, which teams the role works with or what constraints shape delivery. These questions test the fit you described. Use the free preparation preview to rehearse from the role and your own project; keep company research tied to its sources in the meeting brief guide. A specific reason for choosing the work is more useful than generic enthusiasm.
